Eight Year 9 girls recently attended the ‘This Girl Can’ event at Roefield Leisure Centre, joining students from schools across the North West for a day packed with fun and activity.

Throughout the day, the students took part in a variety of exciting challenges, including UV Benchball, a movie-themed treasure hunt and beach games. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for the girls to try new activities, build confidence and work alongside other young people from across the region.

Our students represented DACA brilliantly, demonstrating enthusiasm, teamwork and a positive attitude throughout the day. They were a real credit to the school and embraced every opportunity to get involved.

It was a fantastic event that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved, and we are incredibly proud of the girls for the way they represented the academy.
