Friday 21 November Year 7 CyberFirst Mega Mania Day Our Year 7 students enjoyed a fantastic day at Blackburn College as part of the CyberFirst Mega Mania Day. Thirty students took part in the event, immersing themselves in the world of technology, artificial intelligence and the future of digital innovation.

Wednesday 19 November Travis Frain Workshops Year 9 We had the privilege of welcoming Travis Frain MBE DL, Director of Resilience in Unity, back to DACA to deliver a series of powerful workshops to our Year 9 students focused on the important topics of terrorism and extremism.

Thursday 11 September Sir Rod Aldridge Visits DACA Today, we were delighted to welcome Sir Rod Aldridge back to DACA. The visit began with a tour of the school led by Mr Grand, during which Sir Rod visited a variety of lessons, including Music, Maths, English and PE. He had the opportunity to see our students fully engaged in their learning and to meet staff delivering high-quality lessons across different subjects.

Thursday 14 August D6 Sixth Form celebrates student success Students at D6, Darwen's collaborative sixth form, are celebrating a successful Results Day, with strong performances across a wide range of A Level and vocational subjects. D6 brings together the strengths of Darwen Vale High School, Darwen Aldridge Community Academy (DACA), and Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio (DAES), offering students access to the very best teaching and facilities across all three sites.
