A warm welcome to our new Year 7 intake for 2024/25. We hope you enjoy your time at our academy, have lots of enrichment opportunities and are extremely successful.
Our Open Evening for the new intake 2025/26 will take place in our academy on Wednesday 2nd October, from 4pm – 7pm. Click here for more information.

The deadline for applications is Thursday 31st October 2024 and applications for places in our Academy are made through the BwD application for school places process. Please ensure that you do not miss the deadline. It is also worth noting that historically, every application that has placed the Academy as a first preference has secured a place.

Appeals
All applicants who have applied for a Secondary place at the academy and have been refused have a right to appeal that decision to an Independent Appeal Panel. Full details on the appeals process, timetable and booklet for parents is available on Blackburn with Darwen and website – see link below:
