Welcome to DACA new Year 7. Today you have been a credit to your primary schools and your families - you have been awesome today, despite the heat! I was particularly impressed with the way in which each of you took to the challenge of your first transition day at DACA with a positive attitude and a determination to succeed. At least tomorrow you will know what to expect and I can assure you that you will have another brilliant day.

I really like this school but I still keep getting lost on some of the floors. I have figured out the lunch process and I loved the pizza. I've enjoyed chilling with my old friends and trying to make new friends. I like the teachers because they are really nice and so are the students. I got lost half an hour ago and the students helped me.

These 3 days were a great experience and I loved them a lot. I learnt many things and it was a real eye opener for me September. All of the older pupils were so friendly and helpful as well as the staff. The lunch time however is quite CHAOTIC but the food is still very nice.
