Ofsted Section 8 Monitoring Visit
Darwen Aldridge Community Academy underwent a monitoring visit in March by two of Her Majesty’s Inspectors (HMI) as part of the routine monitoring of progress of Academies by Ofsted. The findings of the monitoring visit were published on Ofsted’s website on 30th April 2010 in the form of the letter that is sent to the Academy.
The main finding was that the Academy has made satisfactory progress in its first eighteen months. Many strengths and a number of key issues for action have been identified and the Academy will continue to address these issues as priorities in coming months.
