MOVEMBER 

The Mo (slang for moustache) and Movember, the eleventh month of the year (formerly known as November), come together each year to create the world's largest movember for men's health. The aim is to bring much needed awareness and funding to men's health and specifically The Prostate Cancer Charity. The Movember Foundation challenges men to start Movember  (November 1st) clean shaven, then grow and groom their moustache for 30 days to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for prostate cancer. Sixteen staff and Sixth Formers signed up and over the course of the month (aided by many Mo Sistas) raised over £800. Moustaches of all styles and colours were carefully groomed for 30 days. The Great Shave Off took place on the final day of Movember, and a local barber and a Barber Shop quartet aided the removal of the Mos, much to the delight of the students.
