Filmclub on the Road

On 12 May 2010, we were treated to a free cinema experience hosted by Filmclub in the Main Hall of the Academy. Students of all ages attended to watch ‘Coraline’, complete with bean bags and free popcorn and drinks. Afterwards, students registered on the Filmclub website and wrote film reviews with a chance to win a goodie bag. Fun was had by all and we hope to continue with more of the same in the future. Our plan, in the future, is to develop Filmclub into providing a community cinema service for the Darwen area as our closest cinema is in Blackburn.
