Based at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy in the centre of Darwen, our brand new facilities consist of eleven Office Pods located on the Entrepreneurship Bridge. The Pods provide friendly, flexible, modern workspace for young entrepreneurs and members of the community.
All Pods are fully equipped and include:
- Office furniture
- Phone line and handset
- PC desktop
- Broadband internet
There is also a breakout space containing:
- Kitchen facilities
- Meeting space
Nine of the pods are 9m² and two are 18m². Business rates, utilities, internet and some phone calls and printing/copying are included for all Pod clients (fair usage policy applies). What more could you want!
How much does space cost?
If you are aged 16-25 and live in Blackburn with Darwen you may be able to use the Darwen Creates facilities for free (terms and conditions apply). For everybody outside of this demographic, the following introductory rates apply:
Hot Desk: Use of a desk on a flexible basis - £50 per month
Hot Pod: Use of a Pod on a flexible basis - £75 per month
Pod Rental: Full time let of a Pod - £100 per month
All agreements are on a flexible easy in easy out basis with a short notice period. We won’t tie you in to a long contract so you don’t need to worry if your circumstances change.
