Darwen Creates have linked up with Epic Networking to sponsor a monthly networking event at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy.

The new pay-as-you-go initiative, created by two of our tenants Epic Sales and Marketing and 118 Direct, will hold the first event on Wednesday 18th January from 4.30pm-6.30pm.

The entrepreneurs set up the new venture after realising that small local businesses would like to enjoy the benefits of professional networking but also have the flexibility to attend when they wanted to without being tied into an annual fee.

Darwen Creates are sponsoring the events by hosting them at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy and also promoting them to their growing database of small business owners.

One of the people who set up Epic Networking, Daniela Romano who runs Epic Sales and Marketing, said “Whether you are a new or growing business, word of mouth is one of the most effective ways to grow your business. After talking to other small business owners we felt there was a gap in the market for a flexible pay-as-you-go event which allows businesses to access the benefits of networking, without missing out because of some of the barriers such as being tied to contracts and membership fees.”
