DACA students have recently played host to 4 visiting schools from across Europe. As part of the Comenius project, staff and students from France, Finland and Spain all visited DACA to participate in a number of activities. The trip started with a talent show held in our new drama studio, where students from all schools took part in a variety of musical numbers. Accommodation was provided by families from DACA, which gave both sets of students further opportunities to practice their language and form friendships. Several visits were enjoyed to places across Lancashire, including; Blackburn Rovers Football Club, where students spoke with French and Scandinavian players in their own languages, Manchester United Football Club, the Lowry Art Gallery, the Imperial War Museum and our very own DART Gallery.
