Auschwitz Visit

On Monday 12th April, a group of 17 DACA students joined students from King David High School in Manchester on a visit the Auschwitz Museum in Poland. They left the Academy at 3 a.m., and returned at 10.00 the same evening. The visit included a tour of the former concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau, and participation in the March of the Living between the two camps. Students kept a group diary of the visit, and the entries that they made show how deeply the experience affected them.
